The follow-up program Art in Basel by and with "Loop Tanz"

The dance education group "Loop Tanz" has been running the follow-up program Kunst in Basel since 2022. The instructors have over 20 years of experience as professional dancers and have been active as choreographers and in various educational projects for more than 10 years.

SOL BILBAO LUCUIX

Sol Bilbao Lucuix was born in Cádiz/Spain. She studied dance and choreography in Madrid and has been dancing professionally in various companies in Europe since 2003. Between 2008 and 2017 she was part of the Ballett Theater Basel. Since 2007, she has created various dance performances and collaborated with other artists in various interdisciplinary projects in Switzerland and abroad. She holds a Master of Arts and teaches dance history, classical ballet and contemporary dance. She is Head of Dance at the Swiss Academy educational group.
DIEGO BENITO GUTIÉRREZ

Diego Benito Gutiérrez was born in Madrid/Spain. After completing his dance training at the conservatory there, he worked in dance companies in Spain, France and the Netherlands. He moved to Switzerland in 2009 and danced at the Ballett Theater Basel for 14 years as well as working on various projects in the independent scene. In 2016 he was contemporary coach at the renowned Prix de Lausanne and since 2022 he has been artistic director of the “UKBB Tanzt” project at the children's hospital in Basel. He is currently studying for a Master's degree in Cultural Management at the University of Basel.
ANDREA TORTOSA VIDAL

Andrea Tortosa Vidal was born in Alicante. After working in dance companies in the Netherlands and Italy, she moved to Switzerland and danced at Theater Basel for 13 years. Over the last 10 years, Andrea has developed numerous choreographic works, participated in various educational projects and taught contemporary dance at various venues in Basel.
